Teen Juried Art Show 2026

A Partnership between the Medina County Art League and the Medina County District Library

Exhibit Dates: March 9-April 5 at the Medina Library’s B. Smith Gallery Artists’ Reception: Wednesday, March 11 6:30 pm

Art will be accepted at the Medina Library March 5-6 during library hours. Art may be picked up April 7-10 during library hours.

Library’s Choice - $500
Innovation Award - $500

Eligibility: Medina County high school graduating seniors who are continuing their art education in college (as a major or minor) following graduation.

Rules for Submissions: Each student must submit a collection of five (5) pieces of art. 2D art must be in a portfolio labeled with the student’s name and school. Portfolios must include completed application, a copy of college acceptance letter, and a list of works. Each piece must be individually labeled. 2D pieces should be no larger than 48” in any direction. Art must either be matted properly (NO MASKING TAPE) and backed securely with strong Velcro on the back or stretched canvas with picture wire for hanging. Heavier pieces must have enough support that they will not fall when hung. Work that falls apart will be disqualified. 3D artwork no larger than 22”x22”x28” may be included in the total of five pieces. Work may be from class projects. Winners will be notified by email. Decisions of the judges are final. Prizes will be awarded by the Medina County Art League.
