- 40 weight (thinner than regular thread)
- Polyester or Rayon
- Suggested brands: Floriani, Gutermann, Madiera, Robinson-Anton, Sulky
- Note: Coats and Clark brand is prohibited.
Embroidery Design (optional)
- Must be a PES file type
- Embroidery Designs
- Embroidery Library
- Etsy
- Have a logo? You must contract with a designer to convert it to PES format.

Training includes watching “Love of Knowledge: Getting to Know Your Baby Lock Pathfinder Embroidery Machine - Part 1” onsite. (Skip 5:20–24:15)

Additional Tips

The Makerspace cupboard includes extra supplies like bobbins, scissors, clips, etc.
Use the “Embroidery Edit” screen for full options.
Coats and Clark thread is prohibited — it jams the machine.
To remove thread, snip at the spool and pull through the needle (not backwards).
Do not overtighten the hoop — it may warp or damage it permanently.
