Virginia Wheeler Martin Family History & Learning Center

Thank you for your interest in the Virginia Wheeler Martin Family History & Learning Center (“Center”) operated by Medina County District Library (“Library”). In consideration of the undersigned (“User”) being permitted to use the Center’s resources, tools, and equipment (collectively “Equipment”), User (or a responsible adult on their behalf) agrees as follows:

1. This Agreement will remain in effect for any future visits to the Center. Failure to abide by the terms herein and all applicable Library policies and procedures will result in suspension or loss of Center privileges.
2. The Equipment may only be used by a User who is at least 12 years old. Users under 18 require a responsible adult's signature.
3. User agrees to participate in all training required by the Library. Staff cannot guarantee successful project results.
4. Digital designs and files must be saved to personal storage. Files on Library equipment will be deleted after 30 days.
5. User agrees not to violate any laws, including copyright and intellectual property laws, and is responsible for their own protections.
6. The Library reserves the right to halt, delete, or prohibit creation of items it deems inappropriate or unlawful.
7. Reservations are required. Same-day reservations may be available. Reservations are forfeited after 20 minutes without notice.
8. Use is limited to 3 hours per tool per day. During high demand, use may be reduced. User must clean up before closing.
9. User agrees to pay fees for use and for any damage, loss, or required cleanup as determined by the Library.
10. User releases and agrees to indemnify the Library and its affiliates from all liability for damages, loss, or injury related to use of the Center and Equipment.
11. Any legal action related to this Agreement must be filed in Medina County. If any provision is invalid, the remainder shall remain in effect.
