Friends of the Medina Library
Who are the Friends of the Medina Library? The Friends of the Medina Library are people who are interested in helping to promote the use and enjoyment of the library. The group aims to address the growing needs of the library and lends support by funding programs and purchasing items that the library could not otherwise provide. The Friends hold used book sales and help fund special events, such as Summer Reading Celebration and Writers Live book and author luncheons. Friends Booksales The Friends have an ongoing book sale located in the lobby area of the new Medina Library. Regular book sales are also held in the Friends Book Cellar in the basement of the library. Book donations may also be dropped off on the book cart near the ongoing book sale. Book Sale Grand Opening Sunday, March 30, 1:30-4:00 Friends annual meeting and grand opening of the booksale (for Friends members only). A short meeting will be held in the first floor Community Room.
