The Friends of the Highland Library are people who are interested in helping to promote the use and enjoyment of the library. The Friends hold used book sales and help fund special events and programs at the library, such as the Summer Reading Celebration.

A focus of the Highland Friends group is assisting with funds to maintain the beautiful

saltwater aquarium in the library.

The Friends have an ongoing book sale cart in the lobby, and hold book sales twice a year.

Memberships are based on the calendar year, January – December.
