Friends of the Brunswick Library

The Friends of the Brunswick Library group was instrumental in the passage of a local bond issue in 1979 to build a new library in Brunswick. Since the success of that endeavor, they have been active in providing volunteer services and money for the extras that our community has come to appreciate from their library. Our first children's room computer was purchased by the Friends. Their support of our Summer Reading Programs for all ages have made these projects among the most ambitious and well attended in the state. Their efforts highlight the support that this community has demonstrated for superior library service.

A continuing booksale table raises funds all year long, but summer and winter booksales are responsible for much of their fundraising activities.

The current president of the Friends of the Brunswick Library is Nancy Ullman. Membership is $3 per year for individuals, or $5 per year for families, and may be purchased through the Friends or at the Circulation Desk of the Brunswick Community Library.
