Judy has responsibility for the daily operation of all MCDL libraries, as well as the bookmobile and other outreach services. She also works with the library managers and age-level specialists to develop new programs and services.

Judy joined the MCDL staff in 1994. Before coming to Medina she was a children’s librarian for five years. Her previous professional experience includes teaching at the elementary and preschool levels, as well as serving the on academic staff of the University of Wisconsin. She received a BA from the University of Wisconsin and MLS from Kent State University.

Judy is the Chair of the Medina County Family-A-Fair Attractions Committee and serves on the Medina County Earth Day planning committee. She is a member of  Medina County Family First Council, the Medina Chamber of Commerce and is a Leadership Medina County Alumnus. She holds memberships in the Ohio Library Council, ALA LAMA, and PLA.
