Betsy oversees the daily operations, activities, programs and maintenance of the Lodi Library and supervises a staff of thirteen employees.  Betsy is on the Board of Directors for Lodi Community Hospital, a member of the Board of Directors for the Lodi Chamber of Commerce, a member of the OSU Extension Family and Consumer Service Advisory Committee and a member of the Cloverleaf Women's Club.

Betsy is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Medina County and a recipient of the YWCA's Women of Distinction Award for 1999.  Betsy is a member of Ohio Library Council and the American Library Association.

Betsy has been a resident of Medina County for 30 years.  She was previously a VISTA, taught elementary school and was county educator for Planned Parenthood.
