Susan Ungham - Manager of Brunswick Library

Susan Ungham manages the daily operations, programs and services of the Brunswick Library and supervises a staff of 40 employees.  

Susan began her library career as a Children’s Associate working for Brunswick Library in 1999.  In December 2001, she obtained her Master’s degree in library science from Kent State University.  She began her career as a professional librarian as Outreach Supervisor at Elyria Public Library in October 2002.  

In June 2003, she became branch manager of Keystone-LaGrange Community Library in the Elyria Public Library system.  In July 2004, she became branch manager of South Branch of the Cleveland Public Library.  In February 2008, she returned to Medina County District Library as Manager of the Brunswick Library.  

Susan is an OLC-certified public librarian and a member of American Library Association, Public Library Association, Library Administration and Management Association, Ohio Library Council, and the Medina County Arts Council.  She is also active at the Cleveland Music School Settlement.
