Jack Masterson is responsible for the management of all financial activities for the MCDL, including financial reporting, budgeting, contracts, capital projects, revenue collections and accounts payables.

Jack joined the MCDL staff in May, 2009. He has 25 years experience in government finance, including 17 years working as a municipal finance director. Jack received a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from Ohio University and a Masters Degree in Business, with an Accounting major, from Cleveland State University. He is also a candidate for a Bachelors of Arts Degree in History from Kent State University. Jack has also worked in banking and as a newspaper reporter covering city and county governments as well as organized crime in the Cleveland and Youngstown area.

Jack has always been an advocate for libraries since he was in high school. His interests include history, genealogy, reading, photography, writing, collectibles and sports.
