Outreach Services

The Outreach Department serves Medina County residents who are unable to come to the library. Scheduled visits are made to:

  • Individual's homes
  • Senior Housing Centers
  • Senior Family Day Care Homes
  • Other Institutions

Materials available to Outreach patrons include:

  • Regular and large print books
  • Books on tape
  • magazines
  • videos
  • CD's
  • All other library material

The library is a lending agency for the Ohio State Library Talking Book Program. This program provides talking book machines, tapes, records, and Braille to qualified individuals. Talking books are available to sight impaired and/or physically handicapped individuals and will be delivered to your home at no cost. Applicants must be certified by a physician, social worker, nurse, therapist or other qualified person. Talking books are also available to those who have learning disabilities.
