Brunswick Library FactsThe Brunswick Library is a place to read, learn, relax and enjoy. Take a seat and get lost in a good book. Enjoy programs for all ages, everything from crafts to special author appearances. Take time to browse the library’s collections which include movies, music, audio books, large print materials, magazines, newspapers, special book collections for children, teens, and adults and so much more! The Brunswick Library is designed with your needs in mind. The Children’s Department unfolds by age, beginning with the preschool collection and leading readers to the school-age books. As you enter the Adult area you’ll find new items, popular movies and music first, with an expansive Reference collection just down the way. Your favorite magazines will be near the check out desk. We know you are busy, so self check outs, and 24-hour pick up lockers are available when you need to get in and get out. However, the library’s updated collection, new features, wireless Internet access, and friendly staff will tempt you to stay a while!

Features of the New Brunswick Library The Brunswick Library has: • Books for all ages: Over 180,000 items, 388 magazines available and 14 newspapers available

• Public internet access on 8 children’s computer work stations, 6 teen computer work stations, and 24 adult computer work stations. • 7 public access catalog computers
• Conference room with seating for 18
• Study room with seating for 4 and  Study room with seating for 2

New Services at the Brunswick Library
Pick Up Lockers - pick up your reserved materials when the library is closed.
Self Check Out Machines - if you are in a hurry, you can pick up your items and check them out without having to wait for a library staff member. Of course, we will still have our friendly circulation staff ready to help you at the check out desk if you prefer!
Meeting Room - available for public use to non-profit groups, this room has a capacity of 100 people and can be divided into two small rooms to accommodate two groups. It is equipped with state-of-the-art projectors, sound system and computer interfacing. Library Facts: Total Square Footage 30,000 10,000 square feet added

The Fireplace Reading Room Made possible through a donation from the Friends of the Brunswick Library This area features a fireplace, comfortable seating and a wooded view.
The Sassafras Room, Quiet Study Room - Donated by the Rotary Club of Brunswick This room allows groups to get away from the business of the library and have a focused meeting or study session.
The Mulberry Room, Tutoring Room Made possible through a donation from Londa Lebanik in memory of Ronald Lebanik. Lebanik was a Special Education teacher at Brunswick High School and volunteered as a tutor for Project LEARN.
Exterior Seating Benches - Donated by the Goots Family, Tom, Sandy, Sara, Maddie and Bennett. Bennett was chosen to check out the first book from the “new” library.
Flag Pole - Donated by the Garn and Nixon Families Steve, Pat and Michael Garn and Bill, Tina and Alexander Nixon Both families wanted to honor the library and their friendship by sponsoring the flagpole.
Fun and Educational Toy Elements for Children’s Room Members of Brunswick Preschool PTA, 2004-2005 (Sand Tracker Play Table), Wal-Mart, Medina Store (The Spinmazer and Big Ruler Mirror) and Ormandy’s Trains on Medina’s Square (Train Table)
Special Collection of Project LEARN Early-Reader Books for Adults Donated by Carol Jordan, Project LEARN tutor. More than sixty books are available for adult early readers to practice literacy skills.
